I have my own thoughts about reis vocaloid vb but YAAAY new iyowa song with her!!

So I was thinking about how the community interpretation of Angel Care is split between either being a continuation of Rasujani's pov or her beloved's.

Personally I believe it's sung from the dead lover's pov, but now that we have a little more background about the setting of LJ + AC, I think the mv for Last Journey hints to how Rasujani's story ends and how the beloved's role in Angel Care ties into that.

We know from Iyowa that Last Journey is chronologically in reverse until the bridge of the song when the MV turns pink. That also means everything when the mv is green is also reversed, meaning chronologically the first scene– the black splatter on the ground– happens after the line "I thought I'd stop by to see you."

At the end of the mv, when Rasujani is seen embracing her beloved, there's a split second where the background turns red, her beloved's arm is torn up, and she also has traces of presumably cuts or blood on her face. We also know Rasujani lives in a world "ravaged by a zombie virus". With this and the above detail, I believe the mv is implying that once Rasujani discovered the corpse of her lover, it reawakened as a zombie and killed her. That would put context to the line "When the dead body started walking, it devoured what little daily life I had."

Going with the idea of Angel Care being the beloved's soul witnessing this, that would explain why she is extremely remorseful in said song. Not just because she avoided expressing her feelings, but because she was indirectly responsible for Rasujani's death. That angle recontextualizes the lines "No matter how many times I’m reborn, I can never atone" and "I’m sorry for not saving you". The song also goes onto say that she "gave [Rasujani's] wounded face a special Angel Care and hugged [her] before it fell apart" which is literal: as the zombie likely did irreparable damage to Rasujani's body. Another thing of note is that the second chorus changes to say "kissed" instead of "hugged". Rasujani says "Give me a passionate kiss right now." in Last Journey, so this may be the beloved's way of fulfilling that far too late.

The beloved says that she "made it here because she [she has] only one regret" and later apologizes for being the one "picking [Rasujani] up". This makes me think that the beloved chose to welcome Rasujani to the afterlife because she bore the guilt of being too cowardly to face Rasujani and being the thing that essentially killed her as a result. Angel Care is literally about an angel caring for Rasujani in both the physical and emotional sense

In the ending of Kyu-kurarin we see her hugging what appears to be a guy she loves and crying in his arms. I saw on the Kyu-Kurain description here, "The ending shows her crying to someone she loves, who hugs her in return, but it is ambiguous whether it really happened." At the end of the MV we can see her hand turning off a clock and the lyrics "What should I do if I end up weeping in your chest? At last, I dreamed such a dream. I’ll just be staying like this."

I think this can mean that her "hugging this person and crying in their arms" was only just a dream that she desperately wanted to happen but it never really did and then we can see her hand turning off the alarm at the end of the song. It seems like she woke up from her dream of hugging this person and that's what caused her to say "I'll just be staying like this" meaning that she just accepted the fact that it wasn't real and it would probably never happen or be real. This also supports the fact that she committed at the end of the song. This whole interaction that she wanted was only a dream and she probably just accepted that and went to commit. "At last I dreamed such a dream." could be her saying that by the time she was about to die.
