Translation Notes[]
- ↑ In the original lyrics, “I” and “you” are written in two ways: (1) あたし and あなた, and (2) 僕 and 君. The former sounds a bit feminine while the latter masculine. I have personally interpreted this inconsistency in a somewhat... interesting way, but I didn’t exactly know how I could express it in the translation. What you can see here is my last resort; the passages or lines written with あたし and あなた are double-quoted whereas those with 僕 and 君 (or those that don’t use any first- or second-person pronouns) are not.
